Roberlo Unix 450 HS Clearcoat 2:1

Unix 450 HS is a 2K high solids acrylic polyurethane clearcoat built around two properties: fast drying and increased hardness. Parts can be handled after a short time, and when polishing is needed the harder film makes the correction easier rather than a fight.

Where it fits

Partial repairs and complete refinishes where you need the panel back quickly without giving up finish quality. The high hardness also brings high scratch resistance, which is what keeps the repair looking correct after a few months of car washes.

Hardeners and working times

Unix 450 runs on the C series. Pot life and flash-off at 68°F, from the manufacturer TDS:

We stock C355 standard, rated for 68–85°F. C354 and C356 can be sourced on request.

Application notes from the TDS

• Apply over the basecoat after the flash-off time specified by the basecoat manufacturer.
• Application equipment must be absolutely dry, and hardener containers closed immediately after use.
• If relative humidity is above 70% or temperature below 50°F, Roberlo recommends forced drying at 140°F.
• Store between 41°F and 86°F, ventilated and out of direct sunlight.
